i would like to leave x: f. o. u. as it is. i don’t think i can add more to it than what i already have, and i haven’t thought of combining my own creations before. maybe i will in the future, maybe i won’t, who knows? BUT that doesn’t mean xavier and zach will be tossed to the side and forgotten!
in the near future (probably in the next couple/few days…or now) i want to create an ask blog for my monsters! basically, it’s just a separate tumblr for the doodle asks that i’ve already been doing, so if you have any questions directed to monsters, you’ll just hop over to that blog to ask and the monsters/characters will answer you. questions for me can be asked on either or. sound good?

Are they named like that because the reader will start off scared/in fear? Cause I know “philia” is when you have a love or preference for it but I didn’t know if your categorization was intentional and was just wondering, sorry if my question is confusing 😅
right on, anon! i thought it would be a nice change to have the horror element and write about “you” being afraid but overcoming it. so, yes: each story will be titled after a phobia, which will be the theme of the monster/story. the tags and the phobia-philla thing is incredibly ironic, don’t you think? 😂
tbh, i’m a sHIT horror writer, because i never explored that genre in the past. but nothing will stop me from monster boyfriends!

You understand the source of Xavier’s behavior, tension gives in to passion, and Zach seems to have been playing matchmaker all along.

Under any other circumstances, you would gladly accept Xavier’s natural body heat and attempt to soak up as much of it, but with winter dying and spring succeeding its reign you find it difficult to welcome the warmth that’s beginning to set off your sweat glands. There’s nothing more you hate than sweating while in your sleep. Of course, that’s nothing more than an exaggeration, but it doesn’t make the statement any less true. Already, you feel your pits and forehead beading with salt droplets and a flame racing from your scalp down to your feet in multiple laps. In the festering heat underneath Xavier’s weight and the coverage of blankets, you struggle to fight your way free despite the boogeyman’s unforgiving restriction.
right. i’m guilty for negligence, and for that i dO APOLOGIZE A THOUSAND TIMES OVER IAMSOSORRY. you monster lovers are so faithful it hurts!
there’s no denying it: i’ve been lazy when it comes to chapter 5 for “xenophobia”, mostly because i’m still trying to figure out some kinks, a bit hesitant on completing the story overall, and i have summer classes, too. yes, i’m taking summer classes…
i don’t remember if i stated this in the past, but this blog is primarily a side hobby. that means updates and art do not (does not? my brain is a little slow at the moment) follow a schedule; however, i don’t plan to abandon any works i’ve started. i’ve done enough of that in the past, so i fully intend to finish my stories.
once again, i sincerely apologize for not having at least warned you all. that’s my fault. and as for chapter 5, i’m a little more than half way through it. i want to finish writing first before i tackle some art. i will also be revising previous chapters.
